Fruit is too expensive to let it go bad before you get a chance to enjoy it. Extend the short shelf life of berries with a mayonnaise jar.

Strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries can last up to two weeks simply by placing them in a dry, airtight, glass jar and then refrigerating them. Do not wash the berries, throw away any berries that appear moldy, and fill the jars as full as possible without crushing the fruit for best result. While mason jars are recommended, they are expensive. An empty mayo jar is an eco-friendly and inexpensive alternative that can achieve nearly identical results.
How do you keep your berries fresh?
